Jasper (foster name: Trick) is a fun, athletic and playful 2-year-old dog. Although he’s shy at first, once this guy feels comfortable he opens right up and shows his sweet, loyal and playful nature. He loves a good walk, chasing a ball (though he’s still learning to pick it up and bring it back), and is crazy about other dogs. Our cat has been too skittish to really interact with him, but he’s learned to be gentle with our chickens and bearded dragon, so I suspect he would learn to live with a cat too (especially if it would play with him). His Husky side comes out in his charming talkative habits – he’ll give us a talking to if we forgot mealtime, or if he thinks it’s time for a walk. He is so social that I really think Jasper would benefit from a home that has at least one other dog, as well as some room to run around. He still needs a bit of training, especially regarding pulling on the leash and wanting to engage (positively) with other dogs, but he’s so smart and eager to please that I think he could learn this quickly with proper training.
