Meet Kermit, a sweet 7-year-old deaf Staffordshire Terrier who’s looking for a loving forever home.
Kermit may have had a rough start and can be a bit shy at first. He might need some extra patience and gentle encouragement to come out of his shell. Once he feels safe, he’s a playful and affectionate boy who loves to be around his favorite people.
Kermit would most likely do best in a home with adults or older children and would thrive as the only dog or with a compatible medium-sized canine companion. He tends to have some food reactivity (likely from him being in a place where food was scarce), so mealtimes will need to be supervised.
Kermit is a special boy who just wants to love and be loved. With a little understanding and patience, he’ll blossom into the best friend you never knew you needed.
