Healthy -Recovering- Neutered

Meet Fred. Fred hasn’t had the easiest life, but he’s on the road to recovery and is looking for a caring foster home or a forever family to adopt him.
Fred originally came from the Contra Costa Animal Shelter in Martinez, where he was on the euthanasia list. 😞 Thankfully, he was saved just in time, and now he’s getting a second chance.
The first picture was taken less than a month ago, and as you can see, Fred was in rough shape. His face is healing beautifully, and he’s starting to put on some much-needed weight.
Fred is an incredibly easy-going dog. He’s 3 years old, loves relaxing in his crate, is up to date on all his vaccines, and was recently neutered. He’s a big baby who just wants to be loved.
To make fostering Fred as easy as possible, foster is happy to provide everything you need—a crate, dog bowls, and a bag of food.
