Meet Edna: A Soulful Survivor Searching for Love
Edna’s story is one of heartbreak, resilience, and hope. Abandoned, starved, and left to fend for herself after her puppies were stolen, she has endured more than any dog should. Despite it all, she’s learning that not all humans are bad—one act of kindness at a time.
This stunning boxer-pitbull mix, around 1–2 years old, is searching for a patient and understanding home where she can continue her journey of healing. She’s spayed, indifferent toward most dogs (ideally in a single dog home), and full of untapped potential. But Edna is scared, so she’ll need time, patience, and a gentle hand to earn her trust.
Because of her past, Edna is also an escape artist—she’s clever and will need a secure, well-fenced yard to keep her safe as she settles in. She thrives in a calm environment and would do best in a home without children and with someone experienced with dogs, who understands how to help her build confidence.
Edna’s past may have been filled with pain, but her future is still unwritten. With the right person, she’ll blossom into the loyal, devoted companion she was always meant to be.
