Meet Doris. Rescued from a high kill shelter the Contra Costa animal shelter in Martinez CA, Doris was previously fostered by a family in Redding. Unfortunately, her foster became ill and was unable to care for the dog any longer. She had to be removed from her foster home and is in temporary boarding in a kennel located in Modesto CA. Doris is just the perfect 2-year-old 55 LB, huggable and kissable pittie girl. She has not yet been spayed. She is happy and excited to be with you. She is easy to take out of the kennel and leash. Doris is simply a joy to be around. She is mellow in energy, gentle on treat taking, knows how to sit, loves to hug and kiss you too! She is a beautifully built dog with a muscular body and beautiful deep grey color with white socks and a darling face. Doris is very human focused but also friendly with dogs and was in play groups at the shelter. She is potty trained.
