Referred to as ‘Shoresy’ by his fosters. While he may not be a hockey-playing character from a Canadian TV show – this goofy, sweet, toy-play-loving, affection-seeking, 59lb snuggle bug of a dog is food motivated, crate trained, cat socialized & ready to bond to his forever family. He seeks a family with patience, understanding & lots of love to give as he’s making up for lost time! Going on 6 years old, Shoresy thrives with daily routine & mental health activities to help regulate his anxiety. His foster parents have been working on outside leash walking, signaling the need for bathroom breaks when inside the house & verbal commands like sit, out, stay, using a treat reward system. He is eager to please but slow to learn. Shoresy is a smaller medium size dog, between 60 & 65 pounds, current on all shots & vaccines & microchipped.
