Blondie (Formerly named Pepper at the shelter) is a spirited 2 year old terrier mix looking for an active, loving home. She’s very affectionate, usually wanting to be near her person. She loves playing, sniffing on walks, learning new tricks, and cuddling. She prefers slow introductions to new people and pets, as she can be fearful at times. Once she warms up, she’s a ball of love and fun!
This smart gal knows sit, down, paw, bow, off, out, and “get your toy”. She’s also eager to learn more! She knows potty is an outside matter and goes to the door to signal when nature calls.
She has some food sensitivities that require her to eat a diet of hydrolyzed protein kibble. Outside of her special kibble, she loves carrots, blueberries, and broccoli!
She’s lived in a house with another dog and cats. While Blondie is perfectly content being the only child, she’s willing to share your attention with the proper guidance
