Austero is a 7-year-old neutered Husky mix, fully vaccinated and ready for his forever home. He possesses a moderate energy level and would excel as an emotional support animal, particularly for someone with a flexible schedule.
A true cuddle bug and lap dog, Austero knows basic commands and thrives on companionship. He loves other dogs, demonstrating excellent social skills, though he prefers calmer, less dominant canine friends. He’s been introduced to cats and is progressing well; while he may chase, he shows no aggression.
Austero interacts well with children, but due to his size and playful nature, he’s best suited for homes with older kids. He enjoys chewing and respects boundaries, avoiding items above his eye level.
