Meet Arlo! This handsome 5 year old pup was rescued from Contra Costa Animal Shelter and has been residing in foster care since January 2025.  Arlo has a super cute personality that brings joy wherever he goes. He is the perfect balance of playful and snuggly—ready to rock the dog park with his friends, cheer on your favorite sports team, enjoy leisure walks through the neighborhood or just curl up for cuddle time at home.

Arlo is medium energy, enjoys traveling and an ideal companion in the car. He’s polite with other dogs, gentle with cats, and adores small children—making Arlo a perfect family addition,  In fact, Arlo has already stolen hearts in the Contra Costa community—he was a crowd favorite when he proudly marched in the Pleasant Hill Fourth of July Parade!

While his exact breed is a mystery, Arlo is about 44lbs and may be part Manchester Terrier or Kelpie. What we do know for sure is that Arlo is a one-of-a-kind pup who’s ready to bring joy, love, and fun to his forever home.
