Healthy - Neutered
Meet Archie: affectionate, curious, a little bit of a couch potato, friendly, funny, gentle, protective, quiet, and smart. Archie is a sweet and gentle 3-year-old pup who is sure to melt your heart. He weighs 85 lbs but is well aware of his size. He is gentle when taking treats. His DNA test results say he is a Great Pyrenees mix, and his coat is a mix of Great Pyrenees and shepherd, with a Husky tail. He’s a cuddle bug, and he loves to be petted and snuggled. His activity level is low to moderate; he enjoys outdoor activities while also being able to relax indoors. He has been working on basic commands—no, sit, lay down, shake, stay, and off. He is potty trained and can be left through the night with three rooms in the house. He does have some trauma around cages from his experience at the shelter, so he does have a hard time with kennels, but he does OK with a doggie gate. He’s good with kids and other dogs, but he does resource guard high-value items, which will require training. He would do best as the only dog or with dogs of similar size, but absolutely no cats. He is neutered and up to date on shots. He is healthy, as he was cleared physically at the vet’s office. Fun fact: Archie also has an extra set of toes on his back feet. He is currently located in the Sacramento area.
