Sweet and handsome Husky boy Apollo is looking for his furever home! This goofy, playful boy was rescued from the euthanasia list at Contra Costa Animal Services. He was on the list simply because he had become too stressed (I mean, who wouldn’t be?!). But since arriving at my house, he has been nothing but social and friendly.

* 3 years old, neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped

* Gets along GREAT with my two female dogs — especially loves to wrestle and chase. When he plays with my Shepsky, they absolutely tire each other out.

* Potty trained — not a single accident since he got here. I do four potty breaks a day: morning, noon, evening, and just before bed.

* Crate trained — has been left alone for up to 3–4 hours and sleeps through the night in his crate.

* Has excellent food drive and is very motivated to work with his handler. Given his energy, I believe he’ll flourish in any activity you choose — dog sports, hiking, running, you name it!

* Insanely affectionate — he’ll crawl into your lap and rest his big head on your chest.

His ideal home would have:

* No cats

* A fenced backyard

* Doggie sibling(s) to play with
